Muenster is not Munster

One of the plans for this holiday was to save all the potential destinations in the sat-nav BEFORE we set out. Obviously this was never going to work, so as we left Rotterdam port, I managed to select Munster and not Münster.

You are now hoping that we drove for 14 hours in the wrong direction and ended up somewhere in Spain.... and sorry to say, we ended up heading completely the right direction, and No 1 child was on hand to sort out my spelling.

We nipped into Münster by bus, with a helpful bus driver selling us a 9 hour ticket.  There was some excitement as the builders were still working on the Cathedral.  No entry for us, but we managed to find a place for lunch instead.

And there was an excellent exhibition of cars from the 1950s and 60s.

No cameras, so no pictures of tiny little BMW's and Messerschmitts.

But excellent films of 1960's germans showing off in their Audis.  And a chance to sit down.....
