If it was a wet day, this place would be packed.

This is either the oldest remaining piece of transport in Stockholm, or a good model.  I think it is original. I have still not got more than a handful of words of Swedish, but the transport museum gives out audio guides which tell the story very well.  At the moment, some of the numbers are missing, so if you have mild ocd you won't like it.

Here is an old tram, from both ends.

Some of the models are very lifelike.  This is a driver from the 1970's, She is driving a tram.

This guy is selling tickets on the underground. Working down there can not be healthy.

Glasgow Transport Museum

Having visitors to stay can be a blessing. No, really.  Although when planning "what to do on Saturday" it seemed for a while that we might be lining up for a visit to the Burrell Collection, and only later did the Transport Museum find its way to the top of the approved list.

So off we set on a damp Saturday to see what there is to see

.
So for those of you who were starting to wonder if I was going to do anything this year.... the short answer is yes. Stop asking.

There are model boats which need a longer look next time, and I loved my seat on the underground.  It felt that I was moving.  I waited for it to stop before getting up!

Happy memories!
