Doors open outwards in Sweden
Just saying. Hotel doors. Front doors. Toilet doors.
So the holiday has begun and we are off for a wee dander to Stockholm, Ystad, and Copenhagen. (Other spellings are available)
First things first: Halfway to the airport and I remember that I didn't pack my trainers.
So we detoured into decathalon and I bought these in under 5 minutes.
Now back on track, we joined the end of the check-in queue and were worried when no one joined after us. So last to to check-in, but not last to the gate, thanks to the scouts who were slower than us.
We flew with SAS to Arlanda, then took the Arlanda Express to Stockholm. I lost the ticket.
But found it again. We were cruising at 201 kph. Not quite the fife circle!

The Devil's Porridge
This museum is moving soon, so I assume that the new place will be less cramped.
I did not take a picture of the safeway's green box which was in this 1940's mock up.

St George's Market, Belfast
Belfast is full of shops like any other city, and it also has St George's Market.
Fish heads and all....
This guy was painting white paint onto white paper.

Birthday Breakfast
Granny Norm decided that I might enjoy a breakfast out for once, and sent us to Newcastle to see what we could find.
And we could only find this:

Run Eilidh run
10k done
Proudest dad.
It was pretty windy. Eilidh ran too fast to be in the photo....
Then Shona and I went putting at the Himalayas, and we all went to Zizzi's for lunch.
Then a walk round the town to keep Eilidh's legs moving.
And later, we were still there!
